Information to be provided in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The State Office for Roads and Transport Mecklenburg-Vorpommern takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We would like you to know when we collect data, what data we collect and how we use the data. There follows information on data protection in accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Identification of the processing activity, purpose and legal basis of the processing and the period for which the data will be stored.
The State Office will collect and process personal identification and communication details (for instance first name and surname, email address, possibly also academic title, organization and position) to enable it to prepare, stage and follow up on the event for which you have registered and for documentation purposes for this event. This involves, among other things, including the names and institutions of the participants on a list that will be part of the conference documents and that can be consulted by all participants and issuing all participants with a name tag.
On the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, your data will be collected to the extent that this is necessary for the proper organization of the event and will be stored only for a period that is necessary for staging the event and within the scope of the customary requirements to be met by the storage of data on administrative procedures.
Withdrawal of consent/controller and other rights of data subjects
You may at any time withdraw your consent to the future processing of your personal data.

The legality of the data processing performed on the basis of the consent given until this consent is withdrawn will not be affected by this withdrawal.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you also enjoy the following rights:
- If your personal data are processed, you have the right to obtain information on the personal data concerning you that are being stored (Article 15 of the GDPR).
- Should inaccurate personal data be processed, you have the right to rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR).
- If the statutory conditions are met, you may demand that the data be erased or that processing be restricted and you may object to the data being processed (Articles 17, 18 and 21 of the GDPR).
- If you have consented to the processing of your data or if a contract on data processing exists and the data are processed by automated means, you may have a right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR).
