From 17.30 hrs Open OZEANEUM
The Ozeaneum in Stralsund is a Natural History Museum with a focus on the Sea and belongs to the German Oceanographic Museum Foundation.

The Ozeaneum features five permanent exhibitions on 8,700 m² of exhibition space as well as aquariums that display various underwater habitats from the Baltic Sea, North Sea and North Atlantic. The largest aquarium holds 2.6 million litres of water.
In 2010, the museum received the European Museum of the Year award.
Use the free ‘Frag Walfred!’ app to explore the OZEANEUM in many different ways. (It is recommended to activate Bluetooth and location access for the app to work properly. It can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.)

19.00 hrs Dinner at the Ozeaneum in the ‘Riesen der Meere’ hall
The 20-metre-high hall of the ‘1:1 Riesen der Meere’ exhibition is bathed in soft light. You will experience the fascinating underwater world of whales and other ocean giants.
(Open OZEANEUM and dinner (excluding drinks) are included in the conference fee.)

Field trip ‘Skywalk – the suspended bridge across the Königsstuhl on the island of Rügen’

10.30 hrs Arrival at the Jasmund-Königsstuhl National Park
10.45 hrs Presentation of the Skywalk construction project incl. light lunch
11.45 hrs Visit Skywalk
12.30 hrs Return to Stralsund
14.00 hrs Arrival at Stralsund
